I hear Goodwill calling my name!

Me and my beloved Goodwill have been separated for a while.

We have been apart for some time now.
I have been too busy for thrift shop shopping and Goodwill has not tempted me with any good specials.

But now....low and behold I got myself this beautiful china cabinet/curio cabinet.
I bought it off Kijiji for $150, not the best est of deals, but I wanted it and I was willing to pay whatever I had to to get it.

Isn't this a lovely piece of furniture?

Now I have to fill it...so I shall be no more separated from my dear friend Goodwill.
I will be haunting the aisle looking for unique treasures that will also be calling my name.

Boy of boy....a lot of things calling my name....guess I am always hearing voices!

Wow! That is a beautiful cabinet. I don't think you paid too much for it either. Have fun shopping for it. I can picture it with white ironstone dishes :) Pamela

You will need to make a lot of Goodwill visits to fill that cabinet. Nicely done.

At least you hear it calling--you're not deaf to its pleas!

A LOVER OF SCARLET

A lover of scarlet just may,
When given the floor, have her say
About the bright shade
That lights up the glade
Like fire on a hot summer’s day!

Hi Diane, I love it and my Daughter-in-law would love it too. I have been looking for one similar to yours for her kitchen. Can't wait to see all the fun things you fill it up with. It's looking good so far.

Have a wonderful day,
Gail

You go, girl! To Goodwill, I mean! ;)

I don't have a Goodwill near me, but a Salvation Army Thrift Store is about 20 minutes away . . . hmmmm . . . !

Lovely china cabinet. You'll have lots of fun filling it. I'm missing thrifting too but am trying really hard to show restraint. In the past I've spent way too much time wandering the aisles when I need to be working! I'm happy to follow you back and appreciate your visit to Cottage and Creek.
