Life In The Country
Series #4

Here we are again this week, heading into the country for some decorating inspiration and fun imagination!

If you recall from last week (here) we were enjoying some Southern warm weather at my glorious Plantation.

This week, we are off to my sweet little home across the pond.

With the size of this home, I have to keep things organized with the help of a butler.
He is the best of the best.

Here is a picture of him.  Now he is a little shy, but takes his work seriously,
so for the purpose of this post today let's just call him....let's see...."Mel".

It's so nice to settle into the house, will quick unpack my bag....

...but feeling a little jet lag so will take a relaxing bath....

.....and then a little rest.

Must remember to check on the horses,

Cozy Canadian Cottage

But must also remember to close that back door, or else Herbert will be visiting....again!

My best part of the day is strolling through the house.  Going from room to room.

I have company coming today, so will change into my favorite shoes.

I'll just wait by the back door, they should be arriving soon.

Love the company and conversation.  Will offer them some warm cocoa and sweets.

And a comfortable place to relax.

Some day we are coming to visit you, so keep those shoes on! I recognized Cath Kidston right away, which made me really happy because I never recognize anything ;) Thanks for taking us on a tour of your other home!
