Country Home Holiday

Life In The Country
Series #8

Here we are again this week, heading into the country for some decorating inspiration and fun imagination!

*******

So, as most of you know from last week, I was settling into the holidays in my Swedish home.
In the mist of my celebration, I received a call from my family and friends and they were not able to get to Sweden in time for Christmas.

No problem.

I jump in my private jet and head back home to my darling cottage in Canada.

It's good to be back home.
And since I am back in North America,
I thought I would touch base with some of my blog pals and invite them all to my sweet home.
I will send my limo out to collect them.

Beverly  brought her gorgeous pink Christmas dress, that she will wear for dinner on Saturday!

Look at the stunning Prada clutch purse Cindy brought from her sweet romantic home.

Picking up and driving them to my cozy Canadian cottage, I sent out my best chauffeur.

He is part chauffeur and part security.
He is an excellent transporter.

As my usual routine when I first arrive home I will relax in the tub for a while.

House to Home

Will finish up the Christmas decor in each of the rooms.

Increase Room

I am so pleased that all the Christmas trimming was complete before my guests arrived.

The savvy style guest room where Kim will stay.
She will like it, it has a southern view.

Harbinger

I know this red room will be a favorite for Sue

This french shabby cottage room, I know will make Courtney  feel very comfortable in.

We are enjoying a wonderful Christmas tea in the music room.

The girls were so anxious to visit and ride the horses, so we tacked them up and hit the trail.

Cozy Canadian Cottage

Even the stables are decorated for the holidays.

Check out the great boots that Doni is wearing.....sweet.

When Sherry goes riding, she looks good!
No minimizing with this lady.

It was a fantastic outing, but we are all tired, we will chill and chat by the fire.

The dining room is all set and waiting for its occupants.

After dinner my wonderful friends give me this extra-ordinary hostess gift.
Aren't they the best!

Harry Winston

Christmas is such an exciting and fun time of the year.

Diane, your dream world is my kind of place. We had our high school prom at Casa Loma - talk about a dreamy night! I married my high school sweetheart that I was with that night too.
I'd really like some snow, at least for Christmas day. ~sigh~

Diane, how lovely of you to host such a wonderful party! The 'cottage' was magnificent, and I loved my room....but alas....I've left my boots in the barn! You may borrow them until I come again, hopefully soon...wink wink!
Thanks for visiting me for Pearls and Lace Thursday! Hope you wear the sapphires and diamonds we 'gave' you again soon!
Hugs!

Diane, visiting via The Savvy Southtern style -anything Swedish draws me in!

Quite a cottage! (: I see that most of the rooms are taken - so we will just stay for tea in that fantastic music room! (Hubby is a fairly good piano player).
