Justin Bieber and Elvis

The Stratford Justin Bieber Report

As most of you know I live in Stratford.
Home to famous resident, Justin Bieber.
Buzz around town is that he is here for the Christmas break, but I have not seen him.
Truth be told, I not sure I would even recognize him if he were strolling around the grocery store!

Some of you may have heard that his grandparents were involved in a fairly serious car accident this past Tuesday.
The grandparents still live here in Stratford.
Last Tuesday was a miserable day here in town.
My daughter ran some errands that day,  when she returned she confirmed the roads were very bad.

The roads in Stratford on Thursday (yesterday). Snow covered and icy.  Daughter took this pic on our way home.

That evening it did not surprise me when I heard several Emergency vehicles drive by my condo.
I later found out that it was indeed his grandparents accident that I heard that night.
The grandfather suffered some broken ribs and the grandmother is fine.
So there is a little up-date from a local here in Justin Bieber town!

So what does this have to do with Elvis.
Today while I was packing away some Christmas stuff, I was playing Elvis on You Tube.
I came across this video of Elvis, singing while girls are screaming in the back ground.
Elvis was indeed the Justin Bieber of the 50's.
Amongst other major significant historical changes and contributions of course!

Here is the You Tube video I was watching....very cool!

Very fun Diane! When Justin Bieber visited Winnipeg, I heard about the Justin Bieber sightings around town. I'm afraid I don't know a thing about this young Canadian fellow, though.
I'm always sad to hear of anyone hurt in a car accident, especially older people. I hope the grandfather will be okay.

Wow, stay safe out there Diane. I hope Justin Bieber's Grandparents will be okay, but I'll take Elvis any day!

When the roads look like that you are better off staying indoors watching Elvis videos, Diane.
Let's hope Justin Bieber's grandparents recover quickly, from physical injury and shock, a horrible thing to happen.
I hope you have a very Happy New Year.
