A Rural Park

Whenever I want to do any major shopping, I have to drive into the city.
It is a 45 minute drive.
Between the town were I live and the city, is all rural.

 Farmland.
I have been taking this road for years and every time I drive down this road I see this small park.

A small park basically in the middle of nowhere.
A bit of an odd location, but nevertheless an interesting concept.

So over the weekend I stopped my car, grabbed my camera and check it out.

Tractors going up and down the park's gravel road.

It was cute, and I am glad I stopped and made the time.

Sometimes, you just have to stop your car and explore.

I bet you are glad you did stop. What a lovely sculpture, there is so much 'movement' in it.

Did you check out the plaque on the statue? Might explain the choice of putting a park right there.
Very odd? Are those children? No playground equipment. Hmmmm. Curious.

I once lived as far from shopping as you! What you save in shopping you make up for in gas! Haha! I have seen a few of these community parks in the middle of nowhere. Maybe there are events sometimes. Funny.
