Barn Charm

For me everyday is a great day,
but Mother's Day is an even sweeter day.
My children gave me a great day.
And my Mom was having a great day.

After a awesome breakfast from my children, my daughter and I scooted over to see my Mom.
She wanted to spend the afternoon at the Casino.
On route, is all country.

So of course, I had to pull over when I saw this beauty.
Black and red barn......I love it.

Bonus, this farm had horses.

The day was perfect, the sun was shining, the company was fantastic.
Mom did well at the slots, while I lost my entire five bucks I put into the machines!

Some days are just golden.

Diane

Good Morning Diane Sweetie...
Oh what a glorious day you had. It is always nice to be taken out for dinner and not have to cook. I love that.

Yes I too love that barn. The color is unusual and so beautiful. I would have never thought the two colors together would be so pretty. Love seeing the horses, and I have seen colts popping up everywhere with there Mommas of late. How precious is that.

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous day with me today. Sorry to hear that you lost at the slots, but sounds like Momma did good, so all is well in the end. (I only play the nickel slots, I have so much fun with those darn things, and can play for quite awhile on my winnings usually.)

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

What a lovely post. You really did have a wonderful Mother’s Day. The barn was just a bit of icing on the cake. The minute I saw the first picture I thought...horse farm. Sure enough, there were the horses in that beautiful field. What a fabulous find. Thanks for sharing it and the sweet story of your Mother’s Day. genie

Hello Diane,

When I see barns like that I think, "Look at the NEW barn!" It may be 30 or more years old, but it's still "new" by comparison.

You are right - - - it is just lovely.

Fantastic! Beautiful shots of this black & red beauty! I wouldn't have thought that a black barn would be beautiful, but I love all the ones I've seen so farm... it just seems like the wrong color for a barn, but it really is awesome looking! Love the field w/ the horses

Thanks so much for joining =)

Multi-tasking fun--now that's a good plan. Wonder what other purposes the barn was used for other than horses with those high open sides? Glad those beauties were out in the flowery fields to add to your "shooting" pleasure.
