Boughs of Glad Tidings

Each year I generally wait until the last week of November to launch my Christmas.
Well, we are now in full swing Christmas and loving every minute of it!

This year I am thinking I would like to have something different.
A simple, green Christmas.
Both inside my house and outside.
And what better place to get ideas and inspiration than Pinterest

Green as in evergreen.

Every year I enjoy my traditional red and green decor.
But this year, I am thinking I would like to decor the season naturally.
A graceful country Christmas theme perhaps.

Add some silver birch, those logs and branches are everywhere in my neck of the woods.

Neutral colours of beige and white.
How pretty.
Maybe trim a flock tree, or a little bit of snow here and there.

Dig around for an old pair of skates.

Pine cones everywhere.
I love the rustic look of them.

Incorporate lots of burlap.

Christmas - the best season of all.
I wait for it the whole year round!

What pretty ideas! We certainly have plenty of pine cones! Too bad I'm just not too crafty!

Wish I could get some birch branches. I won't pay for them, so I'm on the lookout for free ones.
