A Nothing Day

I would have to say I had a pretty good day today.

Want to know what I did?

Nothing.

Nothing at all and loved every single minute.

  

I am always doing one thing or another, 

racing here, running there, visiting here, shopping there.

But today, I loaned out my vehicle to my daughter for the day,

 found a comfy place on the sofa, grabbed my laptop and Pinned away.

At first I was going to do some business stuff.....nah.

Then I was going to do some Landlady stuff.....nah.

Then I was going to pay some bills....okay did that....but it was kinda boring.

But then once again, found my comfy sofa, my laptop, a sweet cup of tea and whiled away the day there.

What do you think of this thing called a "nothing" day?

I highly recommend it.

Funny, I never knew what time the postman came.

Funny, I didn't realize that THAT many people lived in the house next door.

Funny, I found an old pair of shoes I thought I threw out.

Funny, I didn't know that the new Blu-ray thingy had this many cords.

It's amazing what you find on a "nothing" days.

Sweet, eh!

 So, I think I will just go and finish all the hard work that I have started on this sweet "nothing" day!

A Pretty Place to Bathe

Had a long and exhausting day?

Here are some pretty bathrooms ideas I thought you might enjoy.

Doesn't everyone  have soft glowing candles in their bath?

Not sure I would ever leave this room!

I have to have this bathroom, I just simply love tulips.

I know everyone will want to soak in this heavenly room - we will just have to arm wrestle for it. :)

Lovely.

A bit of sea salt thrown into the bath sounds wonderful.

Ghosts of the Titanic

100th Year Anniversary
April 14, 1912  

In the evening hours of April 14, 1912, the Atlantic Ocean was clear, calm and cold.
However, the sea was greedy that night. It wanted the RMS Titanic and all who sailed it.
The ship struck an iceberg, sank  -  and the sea refused to give up its dead. 
It might have taken the last breath of 1,517 souls,
but it really stole the souls of all 2200 passengers that night.

After crossing 1860 miles across the Atlantic, the Titanic, on her maiden voyage,
was only 222 miles from her New York City destination.

The voyage

 The Titanic was a British four funnelled ocean liner built for the transatlantic passenger and mail service between Southampton and New York.

Constructed at the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Ireland.

 she the largest vessel afloat at that time.

On April 10th 1912 the Titanic sailed from Southampton with 2,200 passengers and crew, four days later the Titanic collided with an iceberg and sank. 1517 people died and 706 survived.

The Window Breeze

A window breeze.

A spring afternoon, the sun is shining and a cool, sweet breeze is flowing through my window,

 dancing with the curtain.

It waltzes through my home, like a mermaid flowing through the gentle sea.

It whispers its presence.

Like the echo of childhood laughter.

The breeze sweeps through the trees, wakening their dormant sleep.

Beckoning their new glory.

Casting a new fragrance.

Bringing with it the hope of a new breeze....

....the breeze of summer.

What To Watch

Now that my favourite TV show, The Walking Dead,

 has completed for the season.....the Fall can't come fast enough now for the next one!

 However, good news.....I have just discovered a new, awesome show.

Touch

Starring my favourite man Kiefer Sutherland.

Cutie pie Sutherland plays a widower and single father who has trouble connecting with his emotionally challenged son.  But when he discovers that his son can predict events before they happen, everything changes.

Excellent family viewing.

A definite watch!
